E-Book Order HELP!
Please read this first for order delivery problems

Our delivery of an email to you containing your download links is 100% automated. It is triggered by PayPal sending us a verification email that the payment has been successfully made. However, as with all things (especially internet), there can be glitches!

Below are the several of the problems we've encountered over time and the most likely solution for each. Please read through these and see if it solves your problem before sending us an email.

1. You don't get the email with the links:
PayPal eCheck

If you do not have a credit card attached to your PayPal account, your payment is not "instant". We do not receive a payment verification from PayPal for up to 4-5 days after you've made your online purchase! But we know you are in a hurry and would like to have your ebook right away. So if you've paid by eCheck, just send me an email and I can generate some links for you manually.

2. You don't get the email with the links:
Spam / Bulk Mail

This is by far the most common problem we see. Everyone hates spam, and we do too! Many people set their spam filters at the highest level. For others that are using online free email accounts (like yahoo, hotmail, etc.) the spam filters are set for you and you may not even be aware of them. The problem is, that these filters are often quite agressive and redirect legitimate email so that you never even see it!

So if you do not see an email from us within about 15 minutes of your purchase, the first thing to do is check your spam folder. Depending on your email system, this folder may be named "Bulk", "Suspect", "Junk", "Spam", etc. Look for an email from service@morefunlessworkparenting.com. The subject line starts with your name and then says: Your download links from http://morefunlessworkparenting.com

Important!  If you check your spam/bulk/junk mail folder and it is completely empty, you have your mail filtering settings set WAY too high!

Your email program is not even temporarily saving the
emails we send you, but is instead deleting them instantly!

Please check your mail settings and reduce the email spam filtering level so you can at least see the emails we send. After you fix your email filtering, send me an email and I can resend you your links. They will probably end up in your spam/bulk folder but at least you'll be able to see them!

There should also be some sort of way in your system to indicate that you want future email from us directed to your standard inbox. Usually it says something like "not spam" or "not junk" or "add this person to my trusted list". Be sure to do that so you can receive future email from us.

P.S. This is also important for receiving our newsletter. You must confirm that you want to receive our newsletter before we are allowed to send it to you. And you can't do that if the confirmation email went to your spam folder! Please check and add us to your "accept email from" list.

3. You don't get the email with the links:
It went elsewhere

The email with the links is sent to your email account that you are using for your PayPal account. This may seem like a silly one to mention, but it's actually quite easy to have lots of email accounts and forget which one you've used for what purpose! When you pay via PayPal, they send us that email address and that's where we send the links.

4. The links take you to an error page
In this case you have received the email containing the links but when you click on them to open the file you go to a page that says something like: "HTTP 404 Error: Page cannot be found". One possible cause of this problem is that your email program is set for very short, fixed length lines and has chopped the end off of the file link and placed it on the following line!

To solve this, look closely at the email with the links. Each link starts with: http://morefunlessworkparenting.com and ends with .pdf

Simply open a new browser window and copy/paste the two halves of the link into the address box. Then click on Go (or whatever it is on your browser) to open the file. Important: It is best to copy/paste the file name in order to make sure you have it correct. The name must match exactly including whether a letter is upper or lower case!

Another cause of this problem is that you waited too long to do your download and the links are not valid. (Remember, the links expire and are deleted after 72 hours.) No problem, we understand... life happens! Just send an email as per the instructions below. We'll recreate some new links for you and send them right away.

5. The links work but you see a blank document
In this case the links work and the document opens, but it is blank. This is usually caused by having an out-of-date Adobe PDF reader. The PDF reader is free and can be easily downloaded. Simply go to adobe.com and install the latest reader. Then try again to open the file links we sent.

6. The links work but you only get a of portion of the file
In this case the document opens, but you only see part of it. The end of the document is missing. This is often caused by a slow download. The first few pages of the document appears, you go ahead and do your "save as", and then quit the browser. But in reality the file was not completely downloaded.

To solve this, just click on the link in the email we sent and re-open the file. Watch the bottom information band of the browser window. It will often display a message telling you when the download is complete. The way to make sure is to jump to the end of the document before you do your "save-as". If you can actually view both the first page and the last page, you've got it! If this doesn't solve your problem, then download and install the latest Adobe Reader as per the instructions in the previous paragraph.

7. You click on the links in your email but nothing happens
It is possible that your email program (or your virus monitoring software) is not allowing you to open a pdf from from your email link. Or it's busy scanning the file, but taking so long that it seems like nothing is happening.

To solve this, find the file links in your email. Each link starts with: http://morefunlessworkparenting.com and ends with .pdf

Simply open a new browser window and copy/paste the link into the address box. Then click on Go (or whatever it is on your browser) to view the file. Finally, do a "Save As" to save the document on your local computer.

8. None of the above solves your problem
We are always eager to assist you and will work diligently until the problem is solved. We want you to be happy with your purchase! However, please realize just a few things...

  • We travel a lot, plus we are sometimes living in the USA and sometimes in Switzerland. Please be patient on a response from us. It could be night time where we are. In that case we might be sleeping instead of reading our email!
  • Replies to your email inquiries will most likely come from: suzann@micpeakperformance.com   Please read the paragraph above on Spam / Bulk mail. If you don't get a reply from us within 24 hours, check in there! We have had several cases where we are diligently trying to reply, but our emails are going into the customer's bulk mail folder so they think we are ignoring them! We always reply, I promise!!
  • When you email us, be sure to include a telephone number where we can reach you, plus the country, your time zone, and the best time to call (in your time). If all else fails, we will call you on the phone. But we need to know what time it is where you are so we don't call you in the middle of the night!
  • Be as specific as you can when you describe the problem you are having and what isn't working. If possible, copy any error messages, describe what you see, etc. The more information I have, the faster and easier I can solve the problem.
